Canner Inc. is based in Montreal. Unlike other cloud services, we're not just 100% Canadian owned, our servers are 100% Canadian controlled too, and we have no exposure to the US CLOUD Act, because we have no US entities.
Founder
I started programming at a young age, and over the last 15 years moved into infrastructure and data engineering, working at companies such as McGill University, Structube, and SharkNinja.
Canner is the platform I always wanted. Deploy web apps, store and process data, host local AI agents. All in one spot, and all completely Canadian.
If you're a regulated business, or just someone who wants to buy Canadian, in the past you would have been forced into heavy tradeoffs or risky partners. That's the gap Canner is built to close. All the developer tools you need in one spot, and that spot happens to be Canadian.

Quebec data residency by design
We host, process, and hold your data in Quebec. This makes Law 25 compliance as simple as possible. Your data doesn't leave Canada.
Quebec ownership
In addition to data residency, there are no US legal hooks, because we have no US entities. We'll provide a data processing agreement guaranteeing it.
Hydro-Québec power
One of the best things about operating in Quebec is that our datacentre runs on over 99% renewable energy. Moving to Canner doesn't only mean your data is safe from American control, it also means your website isn't running on 19th century coal power.

The web was built on open source. We use simple systems and a reliable stack designed by people passionate about making things work. Postgres, systemd, Caddy, PM2 processes, all running on Linux. We choose reliability over hype.
