Canner vs. MapleDeploy
Two Canadian platforms, built two different ways.
MapleDeploy gives you your own server in Toronto with Coolify on it, managed for you. Canner is a shared, managed platform in Montréal: you push code and it runs, with Postgres, backups and storage built in. Which one fits depends on whether you want a server or a service.
Competitor details checked 2026-10-29
- Both are Canadian and both deploy from Git. MapleDeploy is Coolify on one dedicated VM per customer in Toronto; Canner is a managed multi-project platform in Montréal.
- MapleDeploy starts at CA$45 a month for 4 GB and 2 vCPU of your own. Canner starts free, and Live is $9 a month.
- Toronto is outside Quebec. For Quebec personal information that matters under Law 25 section 17; Canner’s servers are in Montréal.
- MapleDeploy runs Redis, MySQL and MongoDB next to your app. Canner runs Postgres only, with managed backups, verification and point-in-time recovery.

When Canner is the right call
You want a service, not a server: push and it runs, with Postgres backed up, verified and restorable to any minute, and nothing to size up front. You handle Quebec personal information and want it hosted in Quebec rather than Toronto. Or you have several small apps and want them on a free or $9 plan instead of a CA$45 server each month.
When MapleDeploy still makes sense
You need Redis, MySQL or MongoDB next to your app, or one of the hundreds of Coolify services. You want a fixed amount of CPU and memory that is yours alone, and you are comfortable with a dashboard where you manage your own services. For a team that likes Coolify and wants it hosted in Canada, MapleDeploy is a good fit.
